Waterloo Rowing Club

The Waterloo Rowing Club was fortunate and appreciative to receive a $736 grant from the Blackhawk County Gaming Association. We called this grant Rebooting Cedar Valley Rowing as the funds were used to purchase new rowing sandals for our crew rowing shells and two new tires for our boat trailer. Thank you for your support of the Waterloo Rowing Club.

 

This was the first of three grants we have received from the Black Hawk County Gaming Association and the Isle Casino.  The second was for a Safety Upgrade project for $207 in which we purchases safety lights to use at dusk and dawn on the river. The third was for a Boathouse Storage Expansion project for $2504 in which we purchased new racks to hold more rowing shells in the boathouse.
